Dear parents, visitors and well-wishers,
I cordially welcome you to De Paul School, Jayanpur, Kolkata! As the Principal of De Paul School Jayanpur, I am pretty much delighted to inform you that the school administration, faculty and staff are working hard to offer quality education that is based on catholic values immersed in the Vincentian tradition.
Education, to us, is not merely preparation for a future career. It is a lifelong journey that nurtures moral and ethical values, guiding each child to walk the right path. As parents, you naturally seek the best for your children, and we are proud to partner with you in equipping them with the knowledge and character needed to face tomorrow’s challenges. Together—parents, students, and school—we form a team, complementing one another’s efforts.
At De Paul School, we emphasize the holistic development of our students. Alongside academics, we encourage participation in co‑scholastic activities as recommended by the CISCE Board. This balanced approach helps children discover, understand, and cultivate their talents. To achieve this, parents and school authorities must work hand in hand to instill values that strengthen both mind and body. As the saying goes, “A sound body houses a sound mind.”
Just as a plant flourishes under the care of a gardener, children thrive when nurtured from their earliest years. We are committed to providing that guidance, ensuring our students grow into responsible individuals who carry forward our motto of love and unity. We believe strongly in the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents, and encourage open, frequent communication. Please visit our website regularly to stay updated on our academic and co‑curricular activities.
We look forward to serving you and your children in the years ahead. On behalf of the entire De Paul community, I extend a heartfelt welcome and invite you to feel at home within our Depaulian family.
